About Embers

Embers is a small tool for noticing awe. Awe arrives in quiet glimmers as often as grand ones. A shift of light. A piece of music. A moment of unexpected kindness. And it does us good. It widens us, connects us, and is worth cultivating.

How it works

You tell us about a single moment of awe. One you’ve just had, or one an image or place brings to mind. We ask what sparked it (one of the Eight Wonders: Nature, Music, Beauty, Collective, Virtue, Ideas, Mystery, Chapters) and how it felt across a few dimensions. Then we reflect its shape back to you.

What you get

An honest, warm read of your moment. Never a clinical score. Explore a few and a fuller picture builds: which wonders move you most, and how.

Alongside Spark

Embers is a companion to Spark, the card game for kindling moments of awe together. A code on a Spark card, or at an exhibit, takes you straight to the moment.

The person always comes first here. Anything we learn in aggregate comes second. This is an early prototype.
